Spring is in the air - spring breaks, the Marathon, Red Sox opening day.... and internships. It’s that “oh shit” moment because summer is around the corner. A lot of students have emailed me asking, “when do startups start hiring?” “When can I expect to hear from companies?” These are great questions, so I called a few of the startups who are hiring with TechGen and asked them for help. “We were just talking about interns! We are looking for 4 and have a list of candidates to reach out to this week.” Another said, “We normally hire around mid-April but we’re on it-- these are great candidates.”
I get it, you’ve been holding out for an awesome, hands on experience and your patience is about to pay off. Tech startups are only just gearing up to hire their summer interns so now is the perfect time to apply to TechGen. Why does that happen? It’s a double-edged sword: startups are exciting companies because things change quickly, teams are small and dynamic which also means that hiring interns normally takes a little longer and happens later. Don’t worry though because Tech Generation has you covered.
